David Lynch: The Art Life

David Lynch used to post daily weather reports on his YouTube channel, calmly describing the weather in Los Angeles. It was delightfully mundane, oddly hypnotic, like Twin Peaks but without the murder.
He also had a segment called Today’s Number, where he’d select a numbered ball from a jar, announce it with absolute seriousness, and that was it. No explanation, no context—just David Lynch declaring, say, "Today's number is… 7." It was part performance art, part existential mystery, and somehow, it made perfect sense.
