Why I Love Bucket Hats

Bucket hats are like if a cloud, a time machine, and a jazz solo got together and decided to sit on your head. They whisper "vacation" even when you're just taking out the trash. They don’t care what’s trending—bucket hats are the trend. I love how they turn any outfit into a wink, how they say, “Yes, I have opinions about yoga positions and the Stanley Cup playoffs,” without you ever having to open your mouth. There’s a shade of ‘90s skateboarder, a dash of fisherman poet, and just enough mystery to make strangers wonder if you’re famous in Belgium. Mostly though, I love them because they make me feel like I’m ready for anything—sun, rain, awkward small talk—while looking like I just walked out of a cartoon set in a record store. Bucket hats forever, baby!
